The challenge of this major retrospective show was to devise a design that could sit alongside the (at times) optical riot of Riley’s work and – in a sense – be switched on and off by the visitor as required. I opted to use iridescent etch effect vinyl (normally used on windows) along with rubdown captions and chunky floating signage and I designed an eight page matching brochure.
A delight. The space is presented beautifully allowing
one to enjoy and disappear into the work.
Superb show. Beautifully put together.
