Head to Head, Portrait Sculpture: Ancient to Modern
Scottish National Portrait Gallery

This was a treat. Some of the greatest portrait sculpture in the Scottish national collection, spanning three centuries of figurative art. A compact but wonderfully rich show curated by PG deputy director Imogen Gibbon. We used raw grey MDF for the construction, four colours of frosted perspex for projecting labels, cut title text and accent strips.

I was completely bowled over by this show… I have been to the exhibition twice and will certainly go again… I was very considerably impressed.
