This display was a re-working of two permanent galleries on the upper floor of the Portrait Gallery and so we had to work around substantial existing features. In one place a contemporary metal framework was draped with luxurious curtain to create a shrine to Victoria. Leather case covers were screen printed with a wallpaper motif from the period.
