Man High: Falling from Space

I created a cinematic film backdrop from archive material as part of a three-way creative collaboration with composer Stephen Deazley and experimental musician Martin Parker. Inspired by the story of pioneering research pilot Joseph Kittinger’s 1960 ascent to the edges of space in an experimental balloon capsule and his 31,000 metre free fall back to Earth.

Premiered at City Hall in Glasgow as part of Space Wide Open.
